Married for nearly thirty years, we’ve built or remodeled nearly as many homes. Some we have lived in while others have been projects that enjoy a combined passion that has been a driving force in our relationship. In all instances, the integration of our family – our four sons – has always been a key element to the success of each. One can’t separate a house from a home, nor a home from a family. Though our styles may have changed and reflected elements of our own life’s journey over the years, and matured, some basics have always remained. Make room. Let light in. Be aware of what you need, not what you want, simplify, and whenever and wherever you can, reuse, recycle and respect the past, preserving and protecting the future in doing so.
